Hospice Licensed Practical Nurse (part-time)

Salary: $31.25–$34.13 BOE

Location: Hilliard, Ohio, and surrounding area

Schedule

• Part-time
• Saturdays, 8 PM–8 AM

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nursing Degree
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
• Hospice experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Reliable transportation; willing to travel

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to end-of-life patients during facility and/or home visits
• Deliver on-call services after hours and complete skilled visits
• Assist Registered Nurses in carrying out the plan of care
• Perform specialized procedures (as defined in the state nurse practice act) under RN direction and physician’s orders
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary group meetings to keep the patient plan of care current and address identified issues
• Reinforce patient and family education regarding end-of-life care
• Keep the Registered Nurse Case Manager informed of changes noted during visits

• Engage in self-development via continuing education, workshops, conferences, professional meetings, and individual research
