About the role

This is a per diem position at the Sussman House. Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Hospice/Home Care Aide role performs in-home care tasks required to help maintain and restore the physical, social, and emotional health of patients.

Responsibilities

• Performs in-home care tasks required to help maintain and restore the physical, social, and emotional health of patients under supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Requirements

• Current applicable state license as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Valid Driver’s license with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy required.
• Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide preferred.
