Director of Clinical Services
Responsibilities
- Cook up and oversee all direct and indirect patient services delivered by clinical personnel.
- Support the clinical team in constantly improving all facets of the hospice care services provided by the organization.
- Interpret operational indicators to spot changes in census and fluctuations in volume that might affect staffing levels, revenues, or expenses.
- Evaluate the performance of the Clinical Team.
- Ensure the correct upkeep of patient clinical records, statistics, and reports for evaluation and reporting of organizational activities.
- Responsible for the orientation of new personnel, whether directly or through delegation.
- Aid in evaluating organizational performance through performance improvement programs and productivity reviews, ensuring the quality and safety of hospice services.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding licensure and certification of personnel.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Registered nurse in Ohio with current licensure to practice professional nursing.
- Minimum of three years of management experience in hospice care.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent observation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience of hospice operations, business management, governmental and accrediting organization regulations.
