We’re seeking kind, compassionate volunteers to provide comfort and connection to our patients and their families.

All training and ongoing support are provided by our Volunteer Coordinator.

All you need to bring is your heart.

Lighthouse Hospice believes every person deserves to spend their time surrounded by compassion and peace, wherever they call home.

We support not only physical comfort, but also emotional and spiritual well-being.

Through skilled care, understanding, and presence, Lighthouse Hospice helps patients live each day fully and as comfortably as possible.

Provide social interaction, emotional support, and friendship to hospice patients.

Requirements:

Must have a valid driver’s license and automotive insurance, if traveling to make patient visits.
Successful completion of a background check is required.

Volunteers are not paid employees and do not receive compensation for their time.

Currently assisting individuals in the Chicago Western Suburbs.
