Hospice CNA

About the role

Provide patient care under RN supervision, assisting with activities of daily living such as mobility, grooming, bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Perform household services to support health at home, report patient conditions and environment after each visit, and participate in quality improvement processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (mobility, grooming, bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting)
• Perform household tasks to maintain a safe and healthy home environment
• Support patient well-being and ensure proper documentation
• Communicate effectively with supervisory staff

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current state CNA certification
• Recent CNA experience or completion of required training
• CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Successful competency evaluation
• For Tennessee: completion of 75 hours of training including clinical hours
