Responsibilities
Implement and coordinate all activities of the spiritual services program and the delivery of spiritual services to patients and their families. Provide support to the bereavement program with the provision of spiritual support to the patient and their family, secondary to personal desires and belief system, and consistent with Enhabit policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Must be an individual who, by ordination or by ecclesiastical endorsement from the individual's denomination, has been approved to function in a pastoral capacity. Must have demonstrated experience in working with patients and families dealing with life-threatening illness and death. Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
Requirements
- Maintain a valid state driver license
- Maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law
- Maintain dependable transportation in good working condition
- Be able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions
State-specific requirements:
- GEORGIA - One unit CPE (clinical pastoral education) from a nationally recognized provider is required
- ILLINOIS - One year experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is required
- MISSOURI - One unit CPE (clinical pastoral education) from the college of chaplains is required
