Join Our Team as a Spiritual Care Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual support and guidance that honors the patient’s beliefs and values.
• Work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Offer emotional and spiritual support during difficult times.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
• Support patients and families in navigating the healthcare system and addressing spiritual needs.

Requirements

• A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in counseling, theology, divinity, or related field. Completion of one unit of clinical pastoral education or minister services preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in a health care or hospice setting required. Experience in family counseling regarding issues of loss, grief, death and dying.
• Reliable transportation. Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 25 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively.
