Hospice Certified Nursing assistant - Part time

About the role

AdvisaCare Home Health Care, a Medicare-certified agency for over 20 years, is seeking experienced, motivated, and reliable Certified Nursing Assistants to provide personal care services to hospice clients served from the Muskegon office. Troy is the parent agency. The role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and foster a healing environment in the home care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services to hospice clients.
• Build meaningful relationships with clients and families.
• Foster a healing environment within the home care setting.
• Travel across the AdvisaCare service area (Barry and surrounding counties) to deliver care.

Requirements

• Current State of Michigan Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within the AdvisaCare service area.
• Ability to travel across Barry and surrounding counties.
• Six months of hospice CNA experience or equivalent (preferred but not required).
• Successful completion of a drug screen prior to employment, including screening for medical and recreational marijuana.
