Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant CNA
About the role
Primary function is to provide personal healthcare and related services to the patient in their place of residence; to assist in providing a safe and clean environment, work cooperatively with patient and family and share observations and problems with the supervisor. Works under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
Territory: Longmont, Erie, Frederick, Boulder. Schedule: Full Time Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal healthcare and related services to patients in their place of residence
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment
- Work cooperatively with patients and their families
- Share observations and problems with the supervisor
Requirements
- Must have CNA license
- Must have current driver’s license
- Reliable transportation and valid, current auto liability insurance
- Has successfully completed a nurse aide training/competency program approved by the state and listed in good standing on the state nurse aide registry; or a state licensure program that meets requirements
Qualifications
- High School Diploma (preferred)
- At least one year of experience as a Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, home health agency, hospice, or long-term care facility (preferred)
