Responsibilities
- Assists patients in managing symptoms and discomfort
- Works closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans
- Makes home visits as needed
- Provides emotional support to patients and families
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience in healthcare or caregiving preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Passing background check and criminal history review
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Patience and empathy
Skills
- Knowledge of hospice care principles and practices
- Basic medical knowledge and understanding of palliative care
- Computer literacy
