Hospice Aide (CNA)

About the role

As a Hospice Aide (CNA), you will provide individualized Hospice care to bring safety and comfort to patients. You will visit patients one on one in their homes and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provides services as stated in each patient’s Hospice Aide care plan.
• Affords assistance in safely performing activities of daily living.
• Assigned duties may include but are not limited to: providing personal care, assisting with dressing and undressing, planning and preparing meals, assisting with feeding, changing incontinent products, taking and recording vital signs, assisting with mobility, keeping the patient's living area clean, offering and assisting with bedpans and urinals.
• Completes accurate and timely documentation of patient/family services provided.

Requirements

• Must be active and in good standing on the MN Nursing Assistant Registry.
• Six (6) months of experience in healthcare.
• Able to travel within the geographic area serviced by the office.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance are required.
• CPR/BLS Certification.

Qualifications

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to perform manual labor.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response procedures.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay

$21.02 - $25.06 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time | Days 8:00am - 5:00pm | No Weekends or holidays!
