About the role
The role involves providing compassionate care to hospice patients in their homes, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring comfort and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and hygiene services.
- Assist patients with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Document patient care activities and communicate with family members and other caregivers.
Requirements
- Valid state certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).
- Experience in home health care or related field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
Skills
- CPR certification.
- Knowledge of hospice care principles and practices.
