Hospice Aide
About the role
Mission Hospice & Home Care serves patients and families in the San Francisco Peninsula and South Bay with quality care and compassionate end-of-life support and education. Founded in 1979, we are a local, independent nonprofit that has provided thousands of patients and their families with physical, emotional, and spiritual support throughout the journey from a life-threatening diagnosis through death and bereavement.
Responsibilities
- Assist patient in bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair as needed.
- Assist patient in and out of bed and with ambulation.
- Turn patient in bed, position for comfort, and change bed linen.
- Absorb prescribed exercises as directed.
Requirements
- MUST HAVE HHA LICENSE*
- Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) training program completion.
- Current certification to practice as a Home Health Aide in the State of California.
- Current California Driver’s License and automobile insurance that meets State of California requirements, if driving a car.
Qualifications
We are currently seeking a Hospice Aide to provide personal care services to our hospice patients. Schedule 5 days per week; 7:30am - 3:30pm Location: San Mateo County with occasional coverage to San Ramon.

Pay Range $26.30 - $31.00 hourly
