Hospice Aide

By The Bay Health, a non-profit established in 1975, sets the standard for hospice in the U.S. by emphasizing the role of the patient in making important medical decisions. Our spectrum of home-based services now includes Skilled Home Health Care, Palliative Care, Adult Hospice Care and Pediatric Care. Our team approach strives to address practical, social, emotional and spiritual aspects of care, with the goal to maximize quality of life for our patients, caregivers and families.

Responsibilities

• Aid in bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair as needed
• Aid patient in and out of bed and with ambulation
• Turn patient in bed, position for comfort, and change bed linen
• Aid with prescribed exercises as directed

Requirements

• Completion of an approved Home Health Aide training program
• Current California Driver’s License and automobile insurance that meets State of California requirements, if driving a car

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE HHA LICENSE

Pay

$26.30 - $31.00 hourly

Schedule

Full time, 5 days a week including weekends; 8:30am - 5:00pm; start times are flexible
