About the role
As a Hospice Administrator RN at Interim HealthCare, you will lead the operations of a hospice branch, ensuring clinical compliance, market development, and financial success. You will also foster a positive work environment and develop strategic plans for business growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the branch's operations, including clinical compliance, market development, and financial results
- Create an office environment that supports the achievement of personal and business goals
- Maintain compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, as well as Interim HealthCare policies and procedures
- Develop strategic plans for business development and growth
Requirements
- RN license
- A college degree, preferably in nursing, health care, or business
- Training and experience in healthcare administration
- At least 5 years of progressive advancement in business with at least 3 years of management experience in hospice or a related health care industry
- Experience with financial statements and responsibility for the profitability of a business unit (preferred)
Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive advancement in business with at least (3) years management experience in hospice or a related health care industry
- Training and experience in healthcare administration
- Experience working with financial statements and being responsible for the profitability of a business unit (preferred)
Skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of hospice and palliative care practices
