About the role

Provides quarterly reports on team, operations, finances, and clinical performance to the board. Oversees the development and training of hospice staff to ensure high-quality care and compliance with policies. Manages day-to-day operations for hospice program, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of all agency operations.

Responsibilities

  • Leads strategic growth initiatives to expand hospice services and network, including future inpatient unit expansions.
  • Ensures financial viability of hospice through effective budget management and financial accountability.
  • Provides leadership and management to integrate the Mission and Vision of the organization throughout hospice services.
  • Oversees compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including reporting to the Board for oversight and approval.
  • Develops and implements corporate policies and procedures to meet regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Leads the implementation of the annual strategic plan to ensure expansion and financial viability.
  • Represents hospice care in the community and at various speaking engagements.
  • Works closely with the foundation to develop and implement fundraising strategies.
  • Establishes effective organizational structure and directs leadership team to meet organizational goals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (required)
  • Master's degree in Health Care Administration or related field (preferred)
  • 3+ years previous hospice leadership experience (required)
  • 7+ or more years in healthcare management or related field (required)
  • Previous experience as a hospice administrator (preferred)

  • Effective computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong knowledge of hospice operations
  • Knowledge of advanced business management and nonprofit management practices

Full time. Day shift, 8am-5pm.

Pay

$98,446.40 - $183,102.40
