Hospice Administrative Office Coordinator

About the Role

The Administrative Office Coordinator for Home Health and Hospice provides top-level customer service to internal and external clients, supporting a location’s operational activities. This is an onsite position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, determine the purpose of their visit, and escort them to their destination.
• Assist in answering incoming calls and ensure accurate messages are taken and delivered to the appropriate staff member.
• Distribute mail to staff members or departments, including company communications mailed to employees.
• Process invoices according to branch location guidelines.
• Monitor office supplies and submit orders as needed.
• Scan and/or file documentation and records.
• Participate in renewables, credentialing, and expiration activities, including obtaining necessary documents from staff to fulfill credentialing requirements.
• Ensure order and cleanliness of the office and organize repairs or other work to maintain a professional image.
• Oversee the postage machine and other office equipment to ensure proper use and working condition.
• Perform special projects as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient typing skills.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
• Previous office management experience.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
