Hose Installation Mechanic Saginaw to Bay City

PIRTEK, the nation’s leading provider for on-site hydraulic and industrial hose replacement, is seeking a Hose Installation Mechanic to service, assemble, and install hoses for a diverse customer base including manufacturing, construction, and rental companies.

About the role

As a PIRTEK Hose Installation Mechanic, you will operate out of a purpose-built mobile hose workshop/van, carrying out service calls in the Auburn Hills area. This role offers the opportunity to develop relationships with new and existing customers. Successful candidates will receive full training to operate a specialized PIRTEK service van equipped for fabricating flexible hose assemblies on-site.

Responsibilities

• Service, assemble, and install hoses for a diverse customer base
• Carry out service calls in the local area (Auburn Hills and vicinity)
• Maintain relationships with existing customers
• Develop new business and relationships with new customers
• Be available for on-call jobs 24/7, one week out of four minimum

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Mechanically inclined with hands-on experience in auto repair, off-road vehicle repair, or machinery repair
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and self-motivated
• Strong organization and planning skills
• Clean driving record
