Horticulture Technician

About the role

You'll assist our team by joining and helping to lead projects on our campus, site, or turf teams. Responsibilities

• Caring for ornamental gardens of campus
• Maintaining turf and irrigation systems
• Gaining hands‑on experience such as planting, watering, weeding, mulching, pruning, deadheading, burning, and snow removal

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Horticulture or a related field (equivalent work experience considered)
• Ability to work outdoors 8 hours a day and lift 50 lbs
• Experience in temperate ornamental horticulture and/or arboriculture preferred
• Experience with commercial equipment preferred
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
• Live within 45 minutes of Epic’s Campus in Verona, WI or be willing to relocate
• COVID‑19 vaccination
