Horticulture Technician

Please note that this position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance. Join us as a Horticulture Technician and work with our team to maintain our one-of-a-kind campus. You'll assist our team by joining and helping to lead projects on our campus, site, or turf teams. Your responsibilities could include caring for our ornamental gardens of campus, maintaining turf and irrigation systems, or gaining hands-on experience like planting, watering, weeding, mulching, pruning, deadheading, burning, and snow removal. Responsibilities
- Caring for ornamental gardens across the campus
- Maintaining turf and irrigation systems
- Planting, watering, weeding, mulching, pruning, deadheading
- Performing burning and snow removal tasks
- Assisting with and leading projects on campus, site, or turf teams
Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors 8 hours a day and lift 50 lbs
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
- Live within 45 minutes of Epic's Campus in Verona, WI or be willing to relocate
- COVID‑19 vaccination
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or a related field (equivalent work experience will be considered)
- Experience in temperate ornamental horticulture and/or arboriculture preferred
- Experience with commercial equipment preferred

Pay
Your merit‑based compensation will reflect the impact your work has on the company and our customers. You'll also be eligible for annual raises and bonuses, as well as stock grants.
