Horticulture/Landscaping Instructor

About the role

Ladgov Corporation seeks a Horticulture/Landscaping Instructor to teach vocational skills to students at a secure correctional facility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a state-approved curriculum to classes of up to 25 students
• Develop lesson plans and lead hands-on landscaping and beautification projects
• Track attendance, student progress, certifications, and weekly program activities
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional learning environment

Qualifications

• State-approved horticulture/landscaping license or instructor certification
• Relevant horticulture or landscaping experience
• Strong teaching, communication, and classroom-management skills
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and complete required 40-hour pre-service training
