Hornet Central Assistant - Part-Time (9-Month)
Position Summary
Assists the Coordinator and Supervisors in the logistics and daily implementation of the Hornet Central early arrival program at each middle school, and utilizes best practices in healthy youth development to support students participating in these programs.
Education And Experience Requirements
- Proven ability to relate well to students and adults
- Desire to work in a team setting and build a school culture of belonging and curiosity
- Demonstrated skills in problem solving and taking effective actions in complex situations
- Fully fluent in Spanish or Somali
- First Aid/CPR certification (training can be provided)
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: The wage for this position ranges from $17.48 to $24.04 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. New hires will typically start at the entry-level rate within the wage range, while candidates with relevant experience may be placed at a higher starting rate. These decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis, in consideration of the individual's experience and the school district's budget.
