Hopper Utility- 1st Shift

About the Role

Join Utz Quality Foods and be part of a team that values respect, safety, and success. We are seeking a Hopper Utility to support our manufacturing facility in Goodyear, AZ, ensuring food safety, quality, and production standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load pellets into the hopper to meet production needs and product specifications.
• Inspect the quality of the product and packaging, and notify the machine operator or supervisor of any issues.
• Accurately record production data in the system.
• Communicate when production supplies are needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Cover for fellow team members during breaks or absences.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a zero-accident culture by addressing any safety concerns.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse team, providing input on process improvements.
• Ensure Food Safety programs are followed, reporting any issues to management.
• Assist with other tasks as needed to support the team and achieve company goals.

Requirements

• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 70 lbs.
• Strong commitment to following personal and food safety policies.
• A team-oriented attitude and a willingness to contribute to company values and goals.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with some Saturdays as needed.
