Honors Program Mentor, GT School - $150,000/year USD
On-site role in Austin (Georgetown), TX — relocation assistance available.
About the Role
At gt.school, you'll guide a cohort of 15–20 K–12 students through material at 5–10x the pace of conventional classrooms. Your role centers on expanding their capacity: facilitating one-hour life skills workshops covering public speaking, concentration, and constructive feedback, and conducting personalized motivation sessions informed by Coachbot analytics that tie individual goals to concrete progress in learning applications. You'll observe learners who once hesitated before an audience complete Test2Pass and emerge confident enough to address any group. Your own academic credentials inform every interaction. No predetermined scripts exist. This role does not replicate traditional classroom instruction. No grading backlog, no behavior management protocols, no curriculum designed for the lowest performer. Mentors who establish strong performance records — sustained student approval, 100% goal-achievement rates, validated skill acquisition — advance to leadership positions, guiding a compact team while continuing direct cohort work.
