Provides Christ-centered, developmentally appropriate instruction for secondary students in grades 7-12 within a homeschool learning model, fostering academic growth, spiritual formation, and Christlike character.
Responsibilities
- Plan and teach middle and high school math courses, preparing instructional content that supports one day of in-person learning and four days of at-home coursework.
- Deliver developmentally appropriate, standards-aligned instruction using school-approved curriculum.
- Implement research-based instructional practices and differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Assess student learning and adjust instruction to support growth and mastery.
- Integrate biblical truth and worldview into all subject areas and classroom life.
- Create a nurturing, structured classroom environment that supports academic, social, and spiritual development.
- Monitor student progress and maintain lesson plans, assignments, and grades using RenWeb (Student Information System).
- Maintain weekly communication with students, families, and staff.
- Participate in faculty meetings, devotions, professional development, and required school events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Math, or related field.
- Washington State teaching certificate preferred.
- Model a life of personal commitment to Jesus Christ by exemplifying a lifestyle that honors God and actively participating in a local, Bible-believing church.
- Willing to affirm and abide by the Schools’ Statement of Faith.
- Experience in a homeschool or hybrid program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong communication skills.
- Adaptive, collaborative team player.
- Must pass a Washington State Patrol and national background check.
- Ability to sit, stand, and move around the classroom and school campus throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Pay
The 2026-27 salary range is $10,625–$19,550, prorated based on teaching assignments below a full load.
Schedule
- Facilitate in-person learning on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Class preparation and parent communications as needed during the week.
- School year runs from mid-August to early June, including 36 weeks of instruction plus professional development.
