Homemaker / Sitter/ Companion Aide - Tavares

About the role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Homemakers/Sitters/Companions (HSC) to join our team. As an HSC at Family Life Care, you will play a vital role in helping our patients by providing compassionate and professional care in the comfort of their own home.

Responsibilities

- Prepare meals and ensure clients receive nutritious meals tailored to their dietary needs. - Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. - Maintain cleanliness in the client's living environment by performing everyday light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry.

Requirements

- Current CPR Certification - Driver’s License and Vehicle Insurance - Current TB test with negative results (in the last year) & Health Statement (Within the past 6 months) - Ability to pass a Level II background check - Education & Awareness | Florida Agency for Health Care Administration - 7 CEU's Required - (3-Hr Alzheimer's Disease Initiative, Communication w/Cognitively impaired Clients, Resident Rights, HIV, Infection control, Reporting Elder/Abuse/Neglect/Exploitation)
