About the role

MENTOR Adult Day Health, a member of the Sevita family, provides day programs for elders with complex medical or rehabilitative needs. This allows seniors to obtain quality healthcare while remaining active and involved in the community and continuing to live in their own homes. Our programs are staffed with qualified, experienced licensed nurses and caregivers who are trained to provide individual assistance to each person we serve.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, laundry, organizing, and other household tasks
• Meal preparation and meal planning
• Grocery shopping, errands, and essential household needs
• Companionship and support with daily routines
• Limited assistance with daily living needs, as appropriate
• Document services using a mobile device
• Communicate concerns or changes to appropriate team members

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid Homemaker certificate required
• Valid Driver’s License held for at least 12 months and reliable vehicle required
• Comfortable traveling throughout Worcester and surrounding areas
• Must pass required background checks
• Dependable, compassionate, organized, and able to work independently

Skills

• Previous homemaking, caregiving, or similar experience is a plus

Pay

$18.00/hour + Mileage Reimbursement
