About the role

Eddy Visiting Nurse & Rehab Association has a rewarding opportunity for a full-time Specialty RN to join our team caring for patients in their homes. Work in an interdisciplinary approach to care, discussing complex cases as a team.

Responsibilities

• Care for ONE PATIENT AT A TIME
• Gain new skills including wound vacs, advanced wound care, IV care, and disease management
• Experience the rewards of addressing the whole patient
• Teach patients and caregivers about diagnoses, medications, and self-management of chronic illnesses
• Once trained, enjoy the independence of starting and ending your day from home
• Be on the front-line of transitions in healthcare from inpatient settings to community home health care

Schedule

• Five 7.5-hour shifts
• Four 10-hour shifts
• Three 12-hour shifts
• Monday to Friday, generally 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Some flexibility in schedule
• Minimal weekend and holiday rotations

Requirements

• 1–2 years RN acute care experience required
• Valid New York State RN licensure

Pay

Pay range: $40.00 – $52.81 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary within the stated range based on location.
