Homecare Physical Therapist Assistant PTA
About the role
Pro Rehab, an established Rehab company with over 35 years of successful business, is hiring a Homecare Physical Therapist Assistant to join the team in the Metro area of Minneapolis, MN. This is a great opportunity to grow as a PTA and join an enthusiastic and caring team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will support patients in improving, regaining, and maintaining their functional mobility and physical abilities under the supervision of a physical therapist.
Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, ensuring adherence to prescribed therapies
- Monitor patient progress and document changes in their condition
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and care plans to promote recovery
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide effective patient care
Qualifications
- Graduate from an Accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program with at minimum an Associate’s degree
- Current MN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
- Strong knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care
- Capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
- Able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, with sufficient communication skills to perform required tasks
- Strong patient care skills and knowledge of physiology and anatomy
- Proficient in medical terminology and physical therapy techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Pay
Wage range: $30 – $36 per hour depending on experience.
Schedule
Part-time position with productivity expectations of 5–6 visits per day.
Location
Metro area, primarily north and west metro Minneapolis, MN.
