Home Service Sales Inspector

Responsibilities

• Understand Orkin’s termite protection services and make strategic recommendations to customers.
• Perform 360 inspections from attics to crawlspaces and everything in between to solve problems and build trusted relationships.
• Utilize in-depth training to decide on the best overall pest solution for each customer's needs.
• Serve as a problem solver for customers by presenting practical solutions and addressing any questions.
• Win over customers with confidence and care during sales appointments and home visits.
• Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads, utilizing a robust advertising budget.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home and make recommendations based on inspection findings.
• Prepare sales agreements using a company-provided iPad, receiving training on this tool.

Qualifications

• No prior pest control experience required – Orkin will train you.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).
• Ability to work independently and interact with customers in various settings.
• Willingness to safely perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., accessing crawl spaces, attics, and confined spaces, and working in different weather conditions.
