Home Service Electrician

Responsibilities

• Detect and resolve electrical issues in residential and commercial settings.
• Perform electrical installations, upgrades, maintenance, and repairs.
• Conduct electrical safety inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with customers, explaining issues, recommendations, and costs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
• Adhere to local and national electrical codes (NEC), safety regulations, and company standards.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining a positive company image.
• Collaborate with dispatch and office staff to manage appointments, materials, and project timelines efficiently.

Qualifications

• Valid Tennessee Electrical License (Journeyman Electrician or Limited Licensed Electrician preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a home service electrician handling residential electrical repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Solid knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), local electrical codes, and safety regulations.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills and professional communication.
• Comfortable using technology, such as digital work orders, scheduling software, and mobile applications.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
