Responsibilities
- Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
- Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
- Serve as an empathetic problem solver by utilizing in-depth training to recommend the best pest solutions for each customer’s needs.
- Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads (supported by a robust advertising budget).
- Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain how products and services provide peace of mind.
- Perform 360 inspections of the interior and exterior of customers’ homes (training provided).
- Make recommendations based on inspections, address customer questions, explain processes, and set expectations.
- Use a provided iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized (training included).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- No prior experience required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).
- Ability to work in the field independently and interact with clients.
Work Environment
Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform duties with or without accommodations:
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which may include an OSHA-compliant respirator.
- Work in various weather conditions.
