As a Home Remodeling Trainee, you will report directly to our Installation Manager and work closely with our Lead Installers, Trainers, and Warehouse/Operations professionals.

Requirements

  • Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction – or a hunger to learn
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Valid smart phone or smart device for two-factor authentication into company systems

Responsibilities

A typical day in this role includes:

  • Meeting at our warehouse at 6:30 AM to gather materials and load company trucks
  • Driving to the customer’s home, greeting them, and establishing rapport
  • Completing controlled demolition of the bathtub/shower area
  • Installing a new bathtub/shower pan and acrylic wall surround, updating plumbing as needed
  • Showing extreme attention to detail and care for the customer’s home by properly cleaning up after installation
  • Obtaining necessary signed documents and payment from the customer, then returning to the warehouse

Schedule

Non-exempt role with standard hours Monday – Friday beginning at 6:30 AM; end times may vary.
