About the Role

This role is about much more than housekeeping and meal preparation. It's about building connections, providing companionship, and helping individuals maintain their dignity and independence. Whether you're preparing a favorite meal, creating a safer living environment, or simply sharing a meaningful conversation, your work will have a lasting impact on the lives of those you serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social interaction that enhances quality of life
• Create a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment through light housekeeping
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop living spaces
• Absorb and report changes in a client's condition or living environment
• Maintain professionalism, reliability, and respect in every interaction
• Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity at home

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a environmental services worker or one year healthcare experience preferred
• Reliable transportation, adequate liability insurance and current driver’s license are required
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform housekeeping duties safely
• Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language, both orally and in writing
• Able to follow directions of a care plan and perform environmental services outlined in care plan
• Able to manage a schedule of several client appointments each day

Schedule

Monday through Friday schedule
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
No evenings, weekends, or major holidays
