This is an opportunity to help build a high-growth lending platform inside a respected, community-driven institution. First Commerce Credit Union is transforming Home Loans into a high-performance, technology-enabled engine by introducing new products, tightening pricing governance, strengthening secondary execution, defining pipeline discipline, and setting real operational turn-time expectations. We are scaling with intention, creating the power to say yes more often, more quickly, and with more precision.

You'll be joining a lending operation with a strategic roadmap through 2026 centered on scale, profitability, and disciplined execution. Our product suite is expanding to include portfolio solutions, brokered options, and custom programs that support the full path to homeownership. Leadership is aligned and committed to the belief that lending should fuel growth, deepen relationships, and earn long-term member loyalty. This is a growth chapter, and you can either be in it or watch it from the outside.

Responsibilities

• Originate purchase and refinance business across portfolio and secondary markets
• Manage a pipeline with urgency and precision
• Convert both organizational and partner-generated leads into funded volume
• Operate within pricing guardrails and use our LOS to deliver speed and transparency
• Strengthen relationships with realtors, builders, and community partners
• Represent FCCU as a trusted advisor in the market
• Deliver consistent, predictable, controlled production

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of mortgage lending experience, including origination
• Working knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
• NMLS registration or eligibility
• Strong credit analysis and structuring skills
• Ability to manage multiple files without losing precision
• A bias toward action over excuses
