About the role
Put your exceptional knowledge and understanding of home lending products to good use by serving as our customers' chief point of contact throughout the life of the loan. The Home Lending team will support you by sharing demonstrated knowledge in this area of specialization. You will adhere to all regulatory requirements while marketing and promoting the financial products offered by Chase.
This role represents the pinnacle of expertise within the Closer career path, requiring an advanced skill set and comprehensive knowledge across a diverse range of products. You will demonstrate cross-functional capabilities, adept handling of complex scenarios, and the ability to serve as a resource for peers and leaders.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate expert knowledge in mortgage originations, with a focus on mortgage operations.
- Exhibit strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues efficiently.
- Provide excellent communication and customer service, ensuring clear and effective interactions with clients and partners.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external partners to achieve common goals.
- Propose innovative solutions to problems, utilizing all available resources to enhance processes.
- Manage and prioritize an individual pipeline to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Work with vendors to resolve any post-signing issues or concerns.
- Communicate with settlement agents or closing attorneys to verify fund disbursement.
- Retrieve disbursement delay monetary shortages from settlement agents.
- Engage with partners and settlement agents via phone to maintain clear communication.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in mortgage loan processing/closing.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Proficiency in handling Conventional Refi and Purchase, CEMA/Co-op, NY, New Construction, TX 50a6, FHA/VA, HAP/DPA, Coverage, Hotline, and HELOC.
- Strong ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
