Home Lending Advisor Assistant - Boston Market, MA

In this role, you’ll collaborate with one or more Home Lending Advisor(s) to facilitate the loan process, leveraging your interpersonal skills and attention to detail to support both internal and external customers. Your contributions will help drive strong sales results for your team.
Responsibilities
- Utilize your understanding of the home loan process to handle initial inquiry calls for prequalification, take complete applications, request documentation from borrowers, and review with Home Lending Advisor(s).
- Discuss products and pricing at the request of, or in the absence of, the Home Lending Advisor(s).
- Proactively review complex loan files to identify potential issues and collaborate with Home Lending Advisor(s) to resolve them before submission to processing.
- Manage the loan pipeline, communicate updates to Home Lending Advisor(s), and keep borrowers and builders informed on loan status while preventing pipeline fallout and managing rate floats.
- Act as a liaison between Home Lending Advisor(s), branches, processing centers (if applicable), and a network of 20-30 established realtors to coordinate submissions and closings, allowing advisors to focus on generating new business.
- Coordinate and manage marketing efforts targeting buyers, sellers, realtors, and builders, including assisting with staffing for Realtor/builder open houses and trade shows.
- Establish annual loan funding and closing targets with Home Lending Advisor(s) and support them in achieving high usage of laptop originations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
- A minimum of four years’ experience in mortgage loan processing.
- Intermediate computer skills (familiarity with MS Office or similar software).
- Excellent customer service, written, and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Additional Notes
This position is subject to the Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. Employment is contingent on JPMC’s review of your criminal conviction history, credit report, NMLS records, and other relevant information to assess financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness. A felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration. Continued employment requires compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd-Frank Loan Originator requirements.
This role also requires registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) under the SAFE Act of 2008. Upon employment, you must register or update your existing registration to reflect your role at JPMorgan Chase. Compliance with the SAFE Act, including annual renewal, is mandatory. Information obtained during registration may impact your employment.
