About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, community-minded Home Inspector to join our growing team in Cleveland, TN. This role blends technical inspection work, customer service, and sales-focused follow-up to help homeowners, buyers, and real estate professionals make informed decisions about residential properties.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site inspections of residential properties, including structural elements, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems.
- Engage in frequent direct contact with homeowners, buyers, and real estate agents; maintain professional and friendly communication.
- Use company inspection software to create clear, photo-supported reports and deliver them within expected turnaround times.
- Demonstrate work ethic, commitment to quality, community focus, empathy, coachability, and a drive to dominate in the industry.
Requirements
- Hands-on construction experience and familiarity with residential HVAC and electrical systems.
- Hold (or be actively pursuing) a Home Inspector certification/license as required by state or national standards.
- Strong customer service skills and a sales-minded approach to recommending services and follow-up.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Comfortable working independently in the field and managing a schedule of inspections.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in home inspections, real estate, construction trades, or related fields.
- Experience using inspection software and basic computer skills (email, photo editing, reporting).
- Background in sales, client acquisition, or territory development.
