Home Infusion Nurse

About the Role

A Home Infusion Nurse provides personalized, skilled clinical care to patients in their homes or ambulatory infusion settings, promoting safe and effective therapies with a focus on compassionate service and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Travel within designated areas to deliver infusion care, adhering to company policies.
• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and caregivers.
• Assess patient suitability for home infusion, including safety and support systems.
• Accurately document medical histories, assessments, care plans, and treatment notes.
• Administer medications, manage infusion reactions, and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain vascular access devices and communicate patient status with the care team.
• Serve as a clinical resource, supporting staff training and education.

Requirements

• Active RN license in Kansas and current BLS/CPR certification.
• At least one year of clinical RN experience supporting infusion or IV therapy.
• Strong clinical judgment, independence, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to cover an 80-mile service radius.

Preferred Qualifications

• Home infusion experience.
• Familiarity with EMR systems.
• Knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines.
