We’re looking for a Per Diem Home Infusion Registered Nurse who wants their work to mean something — someone who brings clinical skill, compassion, and accountability to every patient interaction. Why This Role Matters This role plays an important part in helping LUX Infusion deliver a patient‑first experience by providing safe, reliable infusion care in patients’ homes and infusion suites. Role Details Schedule & Location: Lux Infusion is seeking a Part‑Time Per Diem Infusion Nurse to see patients in their homes or infusion suites. It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work in one of the metropolitan‑area locations noted in the posting. Work location is subject to change based on business needs. What You’ll Do Responsibilities Include Provide direct home and infusion‑suite nursing care by inserting, monitoring, and removing IVs and administering prescribed medications, blood products, and nutritionMonitor patients for adverse reactions, obtain vital signs, complete physical assessments and reviews of systems, and document all patient‑related activitiesPerform venipuncture and manage venous access, including peripheral IVs and central linesTeach patients and caregivers how to safely perform and monitor home infusion therapyCollaborate closely with company directors, nursing coordinators, directors of nursing, physicians, agencies, and internal teamsCoordinate start‑of‑care and ongoing nursing visits and confirm schedules with patients and nursing partnersComplete, review, and submit nursing notes, therapy administration reports, care plans, and progress documentationCommunicate patient status changes, concerns, or reportable events to referring physicians and internal stakeholdersMaintain accurate documentation in accordance with clinical, regulatory, and company standardsSupport staffing coordination while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standardsDrive within the state to patient residences, infusion suites, and assigned care locationsUphold compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and organizational policies What We’re Looking For You May Be a Great Fit If You Bring Deep care about patient outcomes and the infusion experienceA nursing degree from an accredited college or universityA current RN license in the state of practice and at least two years of RN experienceIV certification and experience with central line care and managementStrong medical‑surgical, phlebotomy, and venous access knowledgeConfidence working independently while coordinating with multidisciplinary teamsExcellent assessment, documentation, organizational, and multitasking skillsClear, compassionate communication with patients, caregivers, and providersComfort managing care in home or outpatient infusion environmentsWillingness to travel locally to patient homes and infusion sites Preferred (but Not Required) Bachelor’s degreeRN licensure in additional statesPrior experience in home infusion therapyPICC, port, or midline experience and certification You don’t need to check every box — we care just as much about how you care for patients as what’s on your resume.
