Home Infusion Nurse

About the Role

InfuCare Rx, a national Specialty Infusion Company, is seeking an IVIG Infusion Nurse to join our patient-centric pharmacy team. As a leader in the Specialty and Home Infusion space, we provide therapy for patients with complex conditions, focusing on optimal care and enhanced quality of life. This role supports our rapid expansion and commitment to innovative, progressive care to keep patients healthy at home.

Responsibilities

• Use excellent nursing skills to observe, interpret, and monitor patient’s condition; act as the patient advocate and notify appropriate personnel of any changes.
• Work collaboratively with an exceptional team to help meet positive client care outcomes.
• Discuss health care with patients, listen to their concerns, and relay information to the nursing team.
• Perform IV therapy.
• Ensure proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Current and unrestricted RN license.
• 3 years’ experience as an RN preferred, ideally with some home care experience; must possess exceptional IV skills.
• A Bachelor of Science in nursing, an associate degree in nursing, or graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Successfully pass annual competency checks.
• Clean background and criminal record; must pass a drug test.
• Subject to Florida Clearinghouse Level 2 background screening requirements.

Physical Demands

• Required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear.
• Required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
• Specific vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
