About the Role
The Clinical Manager oversees clinical staff delivering home health care, ensuring high-quality, compassionate services. They support clinicians in care planning, documentation, and decision-making while maintaining compliance with regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
- Guide, support, and educate clinicians; assist with goal setting and care planning.
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation, audits, and billing per Medicare and payer standards.
- Participate in hiring, training, performance evaluations, and coaching of staff.
- Review clinical documentation for accuracy and compliance; collaborate with clinicians on documentation submissions.
- Assist with OASIS data validation and quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor quality metrics, support regulatory readiness, and contribute to performance improvement plans.
- Provide staff education on compliance and documentation standards.
- Stay informed on federal and state home health regulations.
- Provide limited direct patient care in exceptional circumstances.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse licensed in the state, with at least 2 years of home health RN experience.
- Experience with OASIS documentation; certifications preferred.
- Knowledge of CMS PDGM and Homecare Homebase is beneficial.
- Strong leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
