Home Health RN Clinical Manager

About the Role

The Clinical Manager – Home Health oversees all clinical staff serving high medical acuity clients and those receiving extended non-licensed support. They coordinate staff orientation, ensure staff competency, and serve as a clinical expert to support operational and financial management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage clinical programs, services, and staff in alignment with policies and management directives.
• Support agency growth in home care services.
• Investigate client/consumer complaints and ensure quality of care through regular home visits.
• Supervise clinical staff (RN/LPN/CNA), conduct evaluations, and oversee case management for financial viability.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations via policy enforcement.
• Participate in recruiting, training, and evaluating staff, and identify training needs.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist license in the practice state.
• Associates degree required; 3+ years RN experience preferred, especially in home health or hospice.
• Knowledge of Medicare Skilled Nursing and OASIS is a plus.
• CPR certification and ability to supervise clinical staff.
