Home Health Registered Nurse in Portland Metro Competitive Pay

About the Role

KidsCare Home Health is hiring Registered Nurses (RN) in the Portland Metro area to provide private duty nursing services, collaborating with therapists to ensure quality patient care for children. We are offering sign-on bonuses, flexibility, PTO, and other benefits, with pay up to $50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to infants, children, and adolescents in their homes according to the active plan of care.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by the physician.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document clear, concise, and accurate clinical notes.
• Notify the RN Case Manager of any changes in the patient’s condition.
• Provide education to patients and their families on diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure quality care and achieve patient goals.
• Use appropriate infection control procedures and safety measures.
• Comply with all company policies, practices, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Current State Registered Nursing License or compact license where applicable.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Reliable transportation to office and patients' homes.

Preferred Experience

• One (1) Year Home Health Experience.
• One (1) Year Pediatric Experience.

Physical Demands

• Regularly requires bending, reaching, standing, stooping, sitting, twisting, talking, and hearing.
• Push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Support up to 50 pounds of weight.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and assist with weights over 100 pounds.
• Carry equipment and supplies.
• See information up to 24 inches away.
