About the role
We are seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to provide personalized physical therapy care in patients' homes, supporting their functional improvement and independence.
Responsibilities
- Administer therapy treatments based on plans developed by Physical Therapists
- Perform manual exercises, therapeutic massage, and modalities such as heat, cold, water, and electrical treatments
- Document patient records and submit clinical reports timely
- Participate in educational meetings and coordinate departmental in-services
- Report equipment issues, supply shortages, or patient/staff changes to supervisors
- Apply infection control and universal precautions during patient care activities
Qualifications
- Current state license
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- CPR certification
- Experience working with healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of geriatric patient needs
- Fluency in English
Preferred qualifications include at least one year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
