About the Role

Provide personalized in-home physical therapy to promote patient mobility, strength, and independence.

Responsibilities

  • Administer physical therapy treatments as developed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Perform manual therapeutic exercises, massage, traction, heat, cold, water, and electrical modalities.
  • Document patient records and submit clinical documentation timely.
  • Participate in educational meetings and coordinate department in-services.
  • Report equipment issues, supply shortages, or patient/staff changes.
  • Apply infection control and universal precautions during patient care activities.

Requirements

  • Current state license to practice Physical Therapy.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • CPR certification.
  • Experience collaborating with healthcare professionals.
  • Knowledge of geriatric physical, emotional, social, and biological changes.
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
