About the Role
Provide personalized in-home physical therapy to promote patient mobility, strength, and independence.
Responsibilities
- Administer physical therapy treatments as developed by the Physical Therapist.
- Perform manual therapeutic exercises, massage, traction, heat, cold, water, and electrical modalities.
- Document patient records and submit clinical documentation timely.
- Participate in educational meetings and coordinate department in-services.
- Report equipment issues, supply shortages, or patient/staff changes.
- Apply infection control and universal precautions during patient care activities.
Requirements
- Current state license to practice Physical Therapy.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
- CPR certification.
- Experience collaborating with healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of geriatric physical, emotional, social, and biological changes.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
