Home Health Occupational Therapy Assistant PRN

Responsibilities

• Help develop and implement patient care plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Provide individualized treatment and interventions that align with patients' needs and goals
• Document patient progress and outcomes accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support as necessary
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the company

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE)
• State of Florida Occupational Therapy Assistant license
• CPR certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
