About the Role

The Occupational Therapist evaluates, coordinates, and administers high-quality occupational therapy services within Indian River and Port Saint Lucie.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician-prescribed occupational therapy.
• Develop written evaluations and Plans of Care.
• Implement treatment techniques and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare team, discharge planners, and family members to coordinate services.
• Maintain effective communication and stay updated on patient conditions.
• Serve as a clinical resource and supervise personnel such as COTAs and HHAs when needed.
• Attend case conferences and in-service training as required.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current unrestricted occupational therapy license.
• CPR certification.
