Acute Home Healthcare is seeking Home Health Occupational Therapists (OT) in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing
• At least 2 years or more of experience in home care
• Level 2 Background screening required

Responsibilities and Duties

• Improves or minimizes residual physical disabilities of the patient
• Returns the individual to optimum and productive living within the patient's capabilities
• Periodically participates with all other health care personnel in patient care planning
• Provides prescribed occupational therapy
• Takes initial history and makes initial evaluation
• Consults with physicians regarding change in treatment
• Writes reports to physicians regarding patient's progress
• Instructs patients/family members in home programs and fine motor movement exercises
• Aids the physician in evaluating level of function
• Helps develop the plan of care and revises as necessary
• Prepares clinical and progress notes
• Advises and consults with the family and other Agency personnel
• Participates in Inservice programs
