About the role

Maxim Healthcare in Reno, NV is hiring a Registered Nurse to work in the Fallon area for a pediatric or trach-adult case. Full-time positions are currently available for both cases.

For commuting nurses, mileage is offered after the first 25 miles at the federal rate of 72.5 cents/mile.

Pay

$45 – $47 per hour

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state in which the nurse practices
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• Current BLS card

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to clients receiving contracted services
• Initiate the plan of care when directed and request from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervene as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and report such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor and document effectiveness of intervention
• Review plan of care and program protocols and identify areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable
